PRODUCT INFO:

For the month of May we will be exploring cyanotype! I am very excited about this project--it's something I've been wanting to do ever since I started mail club! I'll be sending you cyanotype treated paper and all you will need are some objects, sunlight, and water to turn the yellow paper into a blue piece of artwork! 

The photos of the blue floral / plant prints shown in this listing are examples of what the final product will look like--I used pressed flowers (not included in your mail) but you can use a variety of items from toys to lace to branches and leaves and so much more. (The smaller and larger example are different shades of blue due to the amount of sunlight the paper was exposed to.) 

The light green paper in the main image is the cyanotype treated paper that you will receive to create your own designs on.

Below is a list of everything that will be included in your mail:
  • 1 - 5 x 7" Cyanotype Treated Fiber Based Paper (100 lb) It will be wrapped in black paper to protect it from UV light until you're ready to use it
  • 1 - 2.5 x 3.5 Cyanotype Treated Fiber Based Paper (100 lb) This is a smaller piece that you can use as a test
  • 1 - Detailed Instructions
  • 1 - Quote Card, for continued inspiration, printed on watercolor paper (which you can paint on / decorate if you'd like)
  • 1 - Prompt Card (double sided - 2 cards are shown in the image so you can see the front and back) for additional inspiration this month and beyond
  • 1 - Letter A hello from me and my thoughts about this project
  • Access to additional online resources and links
  • Packed in a navy blue envelope
  • Letters are shipped using stamps and do not include tracking
  • Shipping is included in the pricing
  • Order by 4/15 to have mail shipped at the end of April to be received in May. 
  • Orders placed after 4/15 may ship early to mid May.

Colors may vary slightly due to different monitors & setting. Pressed flowers are not included.

SHIPPING:

Letters are shipped using stamps and do not include tracking. You will receive an email notification when your mail is sent. Please allow up to 7 business days for US orders to arrive and up to 21 business days for International. Every once in awhile it may take a little longer depending on the post offices, time of year, and other factors. I appreciate your understanding and patience! If you don't receive it after several weeks, please let me know.
