- Watch the Mulberry Paper Collage Tutorial on YouTube
- Find examples on this Pinterest Board
- Here are a few additional tips when creating your collage:
- You may want to start with the darker colored paper first since they will show through easier under the layers
- If you are using a thicker piece of paper, it may help to layer multiple papers on top of it or around the edges to keep it secure. Make sure to thoroughly wet the paper as well.
- Some areas of the paper may be very thin. If it tears, you can put more layers of paper on top to patch it up. Or lean into it and make the tear even more exaggerated / add more.
- You can make a piece of art, paper for future collages and projects, gift tags (cut them down to size and punch a hole for the string/ribbon), envelopes, and more with the mulberry paper.
- Consider adding embellishments such as metallic paint, embroidery or stitching details, sewing on sequins or charms, gluing other types of paper to it, etc.
